There are quit a few ways to get national coverage for your music. First of all nobody cares about you. Keeping that in mind, what have you done for your community lately? Your community is who you want to buy your records right? So what have you done for them lately? Understand where I'm going with this? Nobody cares until they know how much your care. So get involved with your community, start a program and promote the program with video, twitter and facebook. Send all this info to the radio and TV stations and guess what, now you have national exposure. Sounds simple, well it is, people will support your efforts if you are giving back to the community plain and simple. You can do it the hard way and avoid this for as long as possible but you will eventually have to do it so start now.
Get involved and you will get publicity.
